Happy Valentine's Day Eve ... Day

Today is the last day of my vacation (tear).  I head back to Portland tomorrow and am SO SAD to say goodbye to these little munchkins (and SSG's sister & brother in law!).

But I am looking forward to heading home and checking on my own little furry munchkins.  Tomorrow is also Valentines Day!  SSG LOVES Valentines Day ... which is odd because as a single person I think I'm technically supposed to hate it.

But it's so sweet and cute and full of notes and candies and all kinds of other Martha Stewart-y stuff!

I'm trying to think of how I can celebrate it tomorrow.  Something more than, you know, doing laundry and walking Fisher right before settling in to catch up on what's on my DVR.

I'll probably HAVE to throw some sweets in there of some kind ... Chewy Sprees perhaps?  SSG hasn't had them all week ...

How are YOU spending your Valentines Day?

It's Phil's birthday and not officially Valentine's Day.

BIg C and I have been together for 10 years (married for 5 of those). When we first started dating, we had no money. We were young and struggling to work our way up in the world. So, when Valentine's Day came around, we agreed that we would exchange cards and get each other our favorite movie snack to eat while watching the DVD we would rent.
Every year, to this day, I give Big C a card and a Heath Bar.
He, in turn, gives me a card and some Beef Jerky.
We've never been happier.

Chewy Sprees? That is not Valentines stuff! You gotta have chocolate Girl! Something filled perhaps! Think big!! (no innuendo here, no not at all, none what so ever.....)

I love Valentine's Day. Wonder why we can't have those decorated shoebox mailboxes at work? Gus and Cotton got Valentine dog biscuits today from doggie daycare, and a valentine with a puppy tattoo inside :0

Ahhh V-Day. I didn't celebrate it when I was in a relationship and I certainly won't start now. Call me the anti-cupid. However, I decided to chill out at home with the warring factions. Wiggs seemed to enjoy his special dinner and I didn't have to worry about anything major this year.
