Update on SSG's Summer To Do List

(Note to me:  PLEASE for all of the love that is holy, figure out how to work your digital camera already.)

I walked over to Stumptown Coffee Roasters this morning with my coffee posse.  We strolled with sunglasses on, discussing how the end of July is upon us and August is about to begin.  One more month of summer before September and the start of fall, my favorite season.  It reminded me of a few things.

1)  I will be 34 in a couple of weeks. (Um, when did that happen?)
2)  I will be leaving for Paris in 39 days!
3)  How is that Summer To Do List coming along?  (read more about that here)

I have made a fair dent in my list and have upcoming plans that will knock off quite a few of those items as well, but in looking over the items still left to do?  Oy vey!

Have Done:

2)  Make a cake.
4)  Pick some berries.
9)  Paint your toenails hot pink.
10)  Read a biography.
11)  Chill out.
12)  Make homemade lemonade.
14)  Go skinny dipping.
24)  Treat yourself to ice cream.

Still to Do:

1)  Float in a boat.
3)  Listen closely.
5)  Buy a vintage sun dress.
6)  Take an outdoor shower.
7)  Make a shell necklace.
8)  Get a buzz cut.
12)  Hang wind chimes.
15)  Cook dinner in one pot.
16)  Create a summer haven.
17)  Climb a mountain.
18)  See how they grow.
19)  Ride a ferris wheel.
20)  Sell your junk.
21)  Catch a ball game.
22)  Collect pine cones.
25)  Return to a favorite place.

Time to break out the big guns.  Please send lemon drops.

What about you, what's still on your summer to do list?

Note to you: Perhaps we should take a digital photography class together. I can't figure mine out either.

I love your list. I can't say that I really have a list. Okay, I am a big fat liar. I actually had the nerve to type that while I am sitting here writing out my to-do list for today. I actually have lists of my lists. But I don't have a fun list like yours. I think that's something I need to think about.

I am so jealous of your Paris trip. I lived in Germany for 3 years and miss Europe so much. So, so, so much. I so get your shoe thing. I looked very much like the Bavarian Germans where I lived but as soon as they looked down my jeaned legs and saw whatever sneaker I had at the time- AMERICAN! As soon as I bought some Doc Martens- I was incognito!

Have a good one!

Buying a vintage sun dress would be an awesome idea! Preferably from the late 1800s when women were revered for their voluptuousness. They were wearing sundresses then right?

I kinda strayed from making a summer list because it's all about work work work on my end :(

However, making dinner in one pot - super simple. Arroz con pollo or Southwestern Chicken Soup. Can't go wrong with either :)

39 Days!?!?!?! EEKS!

I had to give birth 16 years ago in order to have a digital camera operator on staff at home. It would have been easier to take a class!!! JK!

Girl, we need to talk about the whole buzz cut thing. You want to ATTRACT the firefighters, not LOOK LIKE them! Why don't you come over tonight after work. I'll whip up a Hillbilly Surprise and we'll discuss it. Um-K?

I love the idea of a list to get your thoughts together. I'm jealous of the Paris trip (except for the flying part) and hope to see lots of photos here.
